Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Quoting
- Understanding well drilling and operation, timelines, down hole and field conditions
- Selecting and specifying oil field pumps, motors and control equipment
- Provide technical support for regional personnel and customers on issues related to pumps, motors, Variable speed drives, transformers and data transmission products
- Provide after sale assistance with a specific emphasis on questions related to start-up and troubleshooting of in service equipment
- Review and collect information about product performance and product application issues
- Preparing equipment proposals utilizing support tools and customer inputs
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding company pump related products and services
- Checking availability of stock and verifying ship dates
- Filling order to customer specifications
Inventory
- Oversee customer owned equipment inventory and reporting
Inspection
- Oversee failure analysis to determine root cause of failed equipment and recommend corrections/improvements to product design, installation and operations
Qualifications of the Inside Sales Applications Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Minimum 4 years experience
- Product knowledge of pumps, motors, power systems and controls
- Knowledge of well, well design, down hole conditions and operations
- Extremely customer-service and teamwork-oriented
- Computer literate, organized, and detail-oriented
- Product experience and Engineering degree preferred
