Duties and Responsibilities:

Main duties include assembly of oil well pumps and associated equipment, dismantle and diagnosing cause of failure, transporting equipment to and from location, documenting work and equipment data.

Additional duties include well production analysis and diagnostic troubleshooting; electrical diagnostic troubleshooting; testing, repairing and replacing electrical control equipment; testing and adjusting control equipment to obtain proper operating characteristics; installing control panels on 3-phase high voltage circuits; programming and troubleshooting digital controllers.

*Must have a strong understanding of mechanical components and how they work in conjunction with electrical systems
*Must be self motivated and able to work without direct supervision
*Must maintain your company vehicle maintenance records, vehicle tooling and consumables inventory
*Must have good verbal and written communication skills
*Prefer 5-10 years electrical and/or mechanical experience
*Prefer Class A Commercial Drivers License (not required prior to employment but must be obtained within 30 days of hire date)
*Prefer understanding of oil and gas production (Tank Batteries, Injection Pumps, Disposal Wells, Etc.)
*Prefer understanding of variable speed drives
*Prefer understanding of transformer and high voltage power distribution
*Prefer understanding of centrifugal pumps

*Outside work in hot and cold weather
*Lots of early morning starts, and some late nights
*Approximatley 30% of on the clock time will be driving time
*Average 10hrs/wk overtime, never work less than 40hrs/wk
*Weekend "on call" rotation

Starting salary $14-20/hr based on experience. Benefits include health and life insurance, 401k retirement plan, profit sharing bonuses, two weeks paid vacation, company cell phone, expense account.

Very few applicants will meet all criteria. Job training will be provided for applicants with a solid knowledge base.
